Why not just throw it away?
When you dispose of Household Hazardous Waste at a recycling facility such as ours, you are giving new life to a product that may have otherwise been landfilled. Recycling helps keep potentially toxic substances from contaminating our soils and groundwater.
Not sure if your items are accepted?
Generally speaking, if it is a product you've used around the house for cleaning, gardening, painting, or repair it is likely accepted as HHW. If you're still not sure about a particular item, or if you have any questions regarding accepted materials, please call our office at 785-263-4780.
