Seeking dependable, service-minded applicants for the position of 911 Dispatcher / Emergency Communications Officer I.  This is an opportunity to serve the community in a vital public safety role where calm communications, sound judgment, and teamwork make a difference every day.

911 Dispatchers are the critical link between the public and first responders.  In this role, you will answer emergency and non-emergency calls, gather essential information, coordinate law enforcement, fire, and EMS response during active calls.

SCHEDULE

Emergency communications operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

This position includes shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION

Experience in dispatch, public safety, call centers, healthcare, customer service, or other fast-paced environments is helpful, but not required.

No dispatching experience necessary, will train the right candidate

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Must have a high degree of computer proficiency
